# Repeating Shifts and Shift Patterns

## Set it once and it repeats

Set any shift to repeat, and Rotaville adds it to the rota for the weeks and months ahead. A repeating shift can include its staff, or leave them for you to assign each time.



Repeat patterns include:

- every day, or every few days
- every Tuesday and Thursday, or every other week
- the 1st and 16th of each month, or the last day of the month
- the second Monday of each month

Set a start and end date, skip dates such as Christmas Day, and change or stop a pattern at any time.

Repeating shifts fill the rota as far ahead as your plan allows: 12 months on Essential plans and 24 months on Extended plans.

## Less time on the rota

Once your regular shifts repeat, managers only need to deal with the changes, and staff can see their shifts well in advance.
