Rotaville Academy: Free Rota Training Videos
The Rotaville Academy is a set of short training videos that show staff and managers how to use Rotaville, at their own pace. Topics include:
- checking shifts, setting availability and accepting shifts
- planning shifts and assigning staff
- repeating and copying shifts
- printing and emailing the rota
- memos and chat
Each lesson ends with a few questions, and finishing a course earns a certificate.
Rota Management course for managers
New managers can learn to run the rota without you training them one to one. These short videos show owners and managers how to plan shifts, assign staff, copy and repeat shifts, approve holiday and keep the team informed, so they can watch the one they need, when they need it.
Rota Usage course for employees
When you invite your staff, you don't have to show each of them how Rotaville works. These short videos show employees how to read the rota, set their availability, accept shifts, request holiday and use the app, so new starters can get going on their own.
Rota Management certificate, for managers
The Rota Management course covers what owners and managers need to know to set up a workforce and run the rota.
Rota Usage certificate, for employees
The Rota Usage course covers what employees need to know to check their shifts and keep their manager up to date.
